Winter has arrived, we are experiencing tempretures that forces us to get the extra jacket from the cupboard, but that is what we want this time of year - so no complaining.
We had our first snow already end of May and the last cold front brought a little bit of snow, only on the Summit of Matroosberg.
Time has gone by so fast and it is difficult to believe that this month it will be one year since Pieralberto Za died on the mountain and we just want to say that his family will always be part of our prayers.

According to the weather forecasters, we can expect a very cold winter and hopefully that will mean lots of snow, for is'nt that what winter is about on Matroosberg.

Get out your beanies and sunblock and make sure you are registered on our sms snowline, where we send you an sms, free of charge, when there is a good snowfall.  Remember to state if you have
your own 4x4 vehicle or not.
